Community Solar

If you don’t qualify for the Solar Co-op or LMI Residential Solar program from Civic Works, don’t worry, you can still do community solar. It doesn’t matter if you rent, lease, or own your home. Anyone with an electricity bill from a major utility across our service territory can take advantage of the community solar program.

Civic Works has partnered with Neighborhood Sun, a Community Solar B Corporation.

For every supporter that signs up for Community Solar with Neighborhood Sun through our signup link, We (Civic works) receive $100 to support our mission! And you the subscriber receive $50 as well.

Neighborhood Sun is the only community solar company that puts its members first above all other solar partners. When customers sign up as members, Neighborhood Sun stands up for your consumer protection, they are fully transparent to ensure you know exactly what you’ve signed up for, and together, Civic Works and Neighborhood Sun, can build stronger communities.
